Martin Stone

Production Manager

T: 0208 744 8205
M: 07899 904 209

Martin, or Bert as he's affectionately known, has worked for TMP Solutions since 2006. Starting life in bollard cleaning and maintenance, his role and responsibilities have evolved over the years to 'chief cook and bottle washer' aka Production Manager.
He is the man we all go to when we need to satisfy an urgent customer order and this is when Bert is able to turn the impossible into the "Yes, of course we can" and every order is met with his good humour and ever willingness to help.
Since Dan has joined TMP, he has mentored Bert to further enhance his confidence and purchasing knowledge. (In this capacity, he studied and achieved full accreditation in IoSCM) as well of a greater understanding of the business outside the buying and manufacturing role.
If there is anything you need to know about anything we supply or could do, Bert is the man to ask.
On a personal level, Bert can quite often be found polishing his pride & joy, his car, or involved in a DIY project or two with his friends.

Chris Case

Senior Production Assistant

T: 0208 744 8205

Chris joined TMP in 2008 as a production assistant and was quick to fit into the production team. He is the go to man for jobs requiring a high degree of accuracy and with the patience that many of us envy having now reached senior production assistant Chis is now a major cog in the TMP wheel.
Away from TMP Chris enjoys all vehicles that contain a engine (apart from the lawnmower) but as the same as most the dream doesn’t match the budget. As for relaxing Chris and his partner both enjoy getting away for the weekend, or sitting down to watch a good film.

M: 07899 904 202

London & South East

T: 0208 744 8201
M: 07768 616 900

Richard loves working in sales and account management, and his passion is offering a first class service to all.
Before joining TMP Solutions in 2017, Richard spent many years managing large sports venues such as Twickenham, Wimbledon and then the corporate programme for the London 2012 Olympics. Richard's first class ability to quickly understand the needs of different clients has led to his successful and fruitful career.
On a more personal level, Richard is really into sports of all varieties, primarily focused on Rugby Union, having played at senior level for 25+ years. He's also a big fan of cats of all sizes, and shares (there’s a debate over who’s house it is!) a house with 2 fabulously fluffy tabby cats. Richard also supports two endangered big cat breeding programmes, Panthera & Wildlife Heritage Foundation.

As a team, we pride ourselves on leading the way, through innovation in the highways industry and beyond. From introducing the original retroreflective self-righting bollard, to launching the first ever solar-powered bollard, we are always at the cutting edge, and dedicated to making our roads safer and easier to navigate.

TMP Solutions is innovation.

Company history.

2017

New highway bollards, street furniture

In 2017 we continued our tradition of innovation, inventing our LockSafe system, which is our revolutionary locking mechanism for our street furniture bollards and allows them to be compatible with existing ground sockets made by other manufacturers.

2016

The big rebrand

In 2016 we celebrated our 20th anniversary, and apart from the celebrations, we decided it was time to rebrand. We moved away from our traditional black and yellow letters to a new brighter brand identity that better represented our new wider product range and customer base.

2006

Joined Dewhurst Plc

In 2006 we were brought by Dewhurst Plc, and the next four years saw both our standard and solar Heritage RSRB really take off. During this time we were able to reinvest in development and produce even better-performing products. There were a lot of changes in the industry at this time with many new competitors entering the RSRB market, which led to a new set of regulations to govern the use of these products, which was missing prior to 2010.

2000

We invented self-righting traffic bollards

Then in the early 2000's, we developed the first Retroreflective Self-Righting Bollard, the Flecta. This bollard was revolutionary for its time, using the IRS spring base to bounce back after being hit by a vehicle. Because it was the first of its kind, it needed to get DfT approval before the bollard could be used in certain locations. But this led to a revolution in the Highways sector making RSRBs commonplace. However, there were still restrictions on their use at that time, and this is when we developed our innovative Solar Bollard. This allowed Local Authorities to replace a mains powered illuminated bollard with our solar powered product, delivering energy and maintenance saving benefits.

1996

The beginning

We started out in 1996 in the car parking sector, selling wheel clamps and advertising on ticket machines.

We don't just conform, we excel...

Standards achieved.
