Pedestrian Crossings – Blister – Tactile Paving

There are approximately 1 million blind and partially sighted adults in the United Kingdom. Approximately 5% of these people have no sight at all. When moving around the pedestrian environment, visually impaired people will actively seek and make use of tactile information underfoot, in particular the detectable floor indicators used in tactile paving.

The lightweight properties and two part adhesive makes this the easiest tactile paving system to use all year round and under normal usage will last up to five times longer than the concrete equivalent.

Made from hardwearing stone and resin composite, the TacTile Paving system is an ideal alternative to traditional heavy concrete slabs.
