Dan Robinson Chair of the ARTSM talks to Highways

Dan Robinson Chair of the ARTSM

Have you received the March issue of Highways?

Well, if you have, make sure you look at page 46 where our very own Dan Robinson, Chair of the ARTSM, talks to Highways about how the organisation plays a vital role in the highways industry, and what challenges the industry faces following the major changes to traffic signs over recent years.

In the interview, Dan discusses the significance of the ARTSM to the highways industry and why membership is on the up.
“…The association has never been stronger and has grown significantly in the last 10 years…”

There have been many changes in how the industry produces and uses traffic signs over the last 10 years.
“…Our surveys of new members show the reason they choose to join ARTSM is to have guidance on compliance with regulations…”

What’s the future for the ARTSM?
“…Our first duty will be to continue to provide a value-added service to our members. A significant part of that will be to provide
a more focused internal training facility for members to help them prepare for the changes that will undoubtedly occur…”
