Coronavirus update from TMP Solutions

Coronavirus (COVID-19) – Update 11th August

We are open for business as usual, with sturdy safeguarding measures in place.

Our stock levels remain good, with our standard lead times ranging between 1 – 3 weeks for many custom items. Also, we have a number of standard and off the shelf bollards available on 3-5 day dispatch.

We continue to stay in a strong position, manufacturing and shipping orders, on-time and to our usual high standard.

Stay Safe.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) – Update 7th April

I hope you are well and keeping safe during these testing times.

I wanted to reach out to let you know that we are open for business as usual, with robust safeguarding measures in place, so please do let us know if there is anything we can help with at the moment.

People are our Priority. Our sales and customer service team are working remotely, and our manufacturing team are observing strict distancing and sanitising procedures. Like all responsible manufacturing companies, we continue to monitor and adhere to governmental advice so that we can be here as a team healthy now and in the future.

We have Good Stock and a UK Supply Chain

As a proud member of the UK manufacturing community, TMP continues to play our essential role in supporting the maintenance of our transport infrastructure.

We are in a strong position, manufacturing and shipping orders, on-time and to our usual high standard. We have been proactive by investing heavily in material and resources that saw us through the Brexit uncertainty at the start of this year and shored up our stock levels for this pandemic. We have a centralised supply chain in the UK, with a good stock of material and more on the way.

Relocating to our large modern facility in Wednesbury, West Midlands last year is really helping us through this situation. As well as the advised sanitising procedures, the manufacturing team members work in individually screened bays that are six meters apart. We have combined this distancing with a staggered start, finish and break time to ensure production can continue safely.

We continue to do our utmost to maintain our usual high level of service, and will keep you updated should there be any changes.

I wish you, your family and colleagues all the best.
We will get through this together.

Kind regards,

Dan Robinson
Managing Director

Coronavirus (COVID-19) – Update 17th March

Like many organisations, we have been monitoring the rapidly increasing impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). I want to share with you as a customer, supplier or stakeholder of TMP Solutions, the steps we are taking in light the current challenges.

Our priority is the health and wellbeing of everyone we work with. This includes our staff, clients, contacts, contractors and the communities within which we work – while also doing our best to meet your requirements and deliver on our service promises.

In line with guidance from the Government, TMP will continue to operate business as usual – processing and shipping orders, and for now, we will be observing the following processes:

1. We will consider if corporate travel is business-critical and required at this time. If not, we ask that travel is postponed and rescheduled to a later date.

2. We are avoiding face-to-face meetings, and encouraging use of technologies such as Skype and video conferencing as well as increased use of telephone conversations.

3. If face-to-face meetings are deemed business-critical, we ask that you do not attend if you have any symptoms as outlined on the NHS website.

4. If a face-to-face meeting does take place we are following a “no handshake policy” and ask that all visitors to TMP sites wash their hands thoroughly and use hand sanitisers regularly.

We are a UK Manufacturer and not reliant on imported raw materials. Those materials that we do import, we have a significant stock of – at this time.

We at TMP Solutions are a highly experienced and dedicated team, and as such will do everything in our power to continue to manufacture and supply our products as ordered.

We will continue to monitor the situation and take advice from the Government.

Thank you for your ongoing support and understanding as we work through these challenges.

Kind regards,
Dan Robinson
